The Phuket Has Been Good to Us Foundation is a small organization that relies mostly on the efforts of volunteers. Apart from English teachers, they have at present only three paid staff members. At this time, the only paid positions available are English teaching positions. Positions would fit a qualified teacher looking to take a career break for a year.
English Teacher - Primary Grades (starting May, 2009)
The Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation will soon be recruiting a full time teacher to join their staff for the upcoming school year, beginning May, 2009. They are looking for qualified* and experienced native English-speaking teachers, with energy and a strong sense of purpose.
The appointment is subject to a satisfactory police clearance and references.
Candidates who also have a CELTA or DELTA are preferred.
*Teachers registered with the government of a native English-speaking country, having a one year post-graduate professional qualification, or a four year teaching degree. Teachers with substantial experience in school, Higher or Further Education may be considered.
